How does Endometriosis commonly present?
You may suspect that you have endometriosis if you experience some of the following symptoms usually in a cyclical pattern:
• Lower pelvic pain
• Lower back pain
• Pain radiating down the legs
• Pain with intercourse (dyspareunia)
• Pain on opening the bowels
• Pain on urination or frequency of urination
• Tiredness/lethargy
• Bloating
Every woman experiences endometriosis symptoms differently that is why it is very important for your doctor to take a detailed and comprehensive history in order to be able to formulate a plan of care relevant to your problems.
